The Arts

Arts & Crafts Program: Arts & Crafts classes are offered daily in all Clubhouses.  The programs offered cover a wide variety of activities including, painting, ceramics, drawing, coloring, and crafts.  These activities are geared towards members of all ages.  Artwork is displayed around the Clubhouse for members to view. Creative Writing Club: This group meets weekly and consists of members’ ages 9-12.  Members are guided in writing stories, poetry and plays.  Each week members learn to express themselves through creative writing.  46 members participated in this club during the past year.

Photography Club: This club meets weekly at the clubhouse. Members learn the art of taking pictures with a digital camera. Members then down load the pictures onto a computer to develop the skill of cropping and manipulating digital images. Pictures are displayed in the clubhouse for members and visitors to view. Photos are then selected to enter into the National Photography Contest. This program is for all ages. There were 46 participants during the spring and fall of 2004.
